BTIP team honored at annual SNO meeting

The Brain Tumor Immunotherapy Program team had an impressive showing at the 2017 Society for Neuro-Oncology (SNO) meeting in San Francisco, California, held Nov. 16-19.

Assistant professor Loic Deleyrolle, Ph.D., and post doctoral fellow Lan Hoang-Minh, Ph.D., received a Top 5 Poster award — selected from hundreds of presented posters at the conference — for their research on metabolic heterogeneity and targeting of slow-cycling cancer stem cells in glioblastoma. Out of more than 1,100 abstract submissions to SNO for presentations, University of Florida researchers were selected to:

  • Nine platform presentations
  • Two invited lectures
  • Chair two of the three sessions on immunotherapy

Congratulations to the entire team for a great showing at the 2017 SNO meeting!
