MBI Brain Awareness Week concludes with SfN Conference

The MBI’s Brain Awareness Week events concluded Friday, March 16 with the eighth annual North Central Florida Chapter of the Society for Neuroscience Conference.

The conference included a poster competition, panel discussion, data blitz, a presentation by keynote speaker John H. Morrison, Ph.D., director of the California National Primate Research Center, and an honoring of Doug Anderson, Ph.D., who served as chair of the UF neuroscience department from 1996 to 2006 and as interim executive director of the MBI in 2004.
