Michael Jaffee, M.D., vice chair and associate professor of neurology and director of the Trauma, Concussion and Sports Neuromedicine Program, recently commented in The Boston Globe about a new study by Boston University researchers hinting that a variant of a certain gene may worsen CTE.
“This opens up a window to understanding some of the processes that may be at play,” said Jaffee. “It’s a good start at expanding the conversation.”
