Fear Facers Summer Camp, hosted by the Center for OCD, Anxiety & Related Disorders, was featured in The New York Times. The camp helps kids with with obsessive-compulsive disorder and other types of anxiety find personal growth and improve behavior, while contributing to research efforts at UF Health.

“This camp is for kids who have spent all their time avoiding their fears or triggers, and their parents have been doing their best but haven’t been able to do anything to successfully challenge that,” said Carol Mathews, director of the Center for OCD, Anxiety & Related Disorders and the camp’s medical director.
