DBS team highlighted on SNNTV

Reporters from Suncoast News Network, a Sarasota TV station, followed the journey of UF Health patient PJ Delaney, who underwent deep brain stimulation surgery to improve his Parkinson’s disease symptoms.

The six-part series follows the patient through the entire process, including an exclusive look inside the OR, and features interviews with Kelly Foote, M.D., co-director of the Norman Fixel Institute for Neurological Diseases at UF Health, and Leonardo Almeida, M.D., assistant professor of neurology.
