MBI Rising Stars: Jessica Kraft

Jessica Kraft, a doctoral candidate in the department of neuroscience, is the latest investigator to be featured in MBI Rising Stars, a video series highlighting up-and-coming neuroscience researchers at the University of Florida.

Working in the lab of Adam Woods, Ph.D., an associate professor of clinical and health psychology and associate dean for research in the UF College of Public Health and Health Professions, Kraft studies the natural decline of cognitive functions in seniors. In the lab, she uses a form of lowvoltage, non-invasive brain stimulation called transcranial direct current stimulation, or tDCS, paired with brain training exercises in an effort to improve cognition in older adults.
