The MBI was proud to sponsor Gainesville High School student Navya Goyal’s trip to Rutgers University on May 3 to compete in the 2025 USA Brain Bee Championship. She was one of 48 competitors, hailing from 26 different states, who were tested on their neuroscience knowledge.
Goyal advanced to the national competition after winning the Alachua County Brain Bee at the MBI in December, and the experience inspired her to create a neuroscience club at Gainesville High School.
