The MBI is kicking off a new Brains & Bagels seminar series featuring in-depth discussions over coffee and carbs to tackle big topics in brain research!

Join us from 9-10 a.m. every Friday in September for the launch of Brains & Bagels with Integrating Model Systems and Human Research, a four-part discussion exploring how to adapt to the NIH’s new emphasis on human-based research. Designed for researchers using preclinical models, presenters will showcase ways to integrate human-subject research and strengthen translational work.

Moderated by MBI Associate Director of Innovation Ramon Sun, Ph.D., each session will spotlight a different expert offering strategies to:

  • Link animal models and human-subject research
  • Leverage available datasets
  • Explore collaborations at UF

Dates: Every Friday in September (Sept. 5, 12, 19 & 26)
Time: 9-10 a.m.
